Welcome, New Students!

The AEL is excited to welcome five new graduate students this fall! 

 

Jacob Bentley is continuing his time at the AEL to pursue a master's degree building on his undergraduate thesis with Stu Ludsin on catfish populations in Ohio reservoirs.

Andrew Foley is joining the AEL after completing his bachelor's at the University of Florida. He will work with Stu Ludsin on a master's project looking at yellow perch recruitment in Lake Erie.

Justin Furby is joining the AEL to pursue a master's degree with new faculty member, Casey Pennock. Justin will develop a project related to habitat variability, movement ecology, or predator-prey interactions in aquatic communities.

Madeline Schumacher began their master's program last winter at Oklahoma State University with new AEL faculty member Lindsey Bruckerhoff. Madeline will continue their project on rare darter occurrences in the Ouachita Highlands of Arkansas while at the AEL. 

Abigail Shake also began her master's program last winter at Oklahoma State University with new AEL faculty member Lindsey Bruckerhoff. Abigail will continue her project on drivers of community composition of mussels and snails in riverine habitats in Kansas while at the AEL.
