Welcome, New Students!
The AEL is welcoming three new graduate students in Autumn 2026!
Manao Kato, a research technician at the AEL until very recently, will be working with Stu Ludsin on a master's project which will conduct an experiment related to walleye and yellow perch.
Jack Kinsey will be working with Casey Pennock on a master's project looking at largemouth bass in Ohio reservoirs.
Cade Roach will be working with Lindsey Bruckerhoff on a doctoral project looking at smallmouth bass populations in Lake Erie.
We also have two masters students who are converting to doctoral programs: Grace Watson will continue working with Jim Hood on a project looking at phosphorus in sediments in the Maumee River, and Megan Herbruck will continue working with Lindsey Bruckerhoff on a project looking at fish communities in the Cuyahoga River.
