AEL PhD Student Andrew Bade presented to the Under the Sea marine biology club on Wednesday about the Great Lakes Acoustic Telemetry System (GLATOS). His presentation was titled Understanding walleye movement in Lake Erie using acoustic telemetry.
Ruth Briland graduated from Ohio State with her PhD!! Congrats. On the super accomplishment. She now can focus on her full-time job as an Environmental Specialist with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency’s Division of Drinking and Ground Waters.
Stu Ludsin gave a seminar to the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology. His talk was titled The future of harmful algal blooms and their risks to fisheries: Insights from Lake Erie.
Stu Ludsin gave a presentation to the Old North High Boys Club in the Clintonville, OH. The presentation, which provided a primer on climate change, was attended by ~70 members of the club who attend the now-closed North High in Clintonville.
