Dr. Zach Steele, postdoctoral researcher, traveled with his advisor Dr. Stuart Ludsin to the Great Lakes Fishery Commission Council of Lake Committees meeting in Windsor, Ontario, on April 21. The Council of Lake Committees meeting is composed of representatives from state, tribal, and provincial fishery management agencies. The committee considers issues and problems of interest to two or more of the Laurentian Great Lakes.

They presented a talk titled, "Project Janus: A data-sharing architecture to benefit research and management in the Great Lakes."
