We are so proud of Zoe Almeida for being chosen as the recipient of the J. Frances Allen Scholarship Award.  This scholarship was established to "honor J. Frances Allen who pioneered women's involvement in AFS and in the field of fisheries." Awardees are selected because they have demonstrated academic achievement and their research shows promise and scientific merit.

Zoe's advisor, our very own Dr. Libby Marschall was the first recipient of this award in 1987.
