OSU's undergraduate marine biology club, Under the S.E.A., recently visited the Aquatic Ecology Laboratory to learn about opportunities in the aquatic sciences. PhD student Lyndsie Collis led a tour of the facilities and spoke about research conducted in the lab, as well as opportunities for undergraduate research. Under the S.E.A. aims to create awareness and interest in marine biology through education, service and hands-on experience. During their visit students were able to see the parallels between freshwater and marine research, and we appreciate them stopping by!
