AELers and their loved ones gathered for a holiday party and potluck in mid-December. The white elephant gift exchange resulted in some winners (a happy preschooler with a bag full of buckeyes) and some losers (a father with some thrilled elementary students and an 8 foot inflatable snowman decoration). The ugly sweater contestants brought their A game, with 1st place going to Andrew and his matching glasses to accessorize his sweater, 2nd place to Matthew with his actually-wore-this-as-a-teacher-at-the-holidays sweater, and finally 3rd place to Stu with his tried and true teacher's cardigan.
