Glover and carp

Dr. Glover and colleagues published their findings on the bigheaded carp invasion front in Biological Invasions. This multiyear study used novel hydroacoustic techniques to evaluate changes in the abundance and distribution of these invasive species and evaluated the role that intense harvest has played to reduce the potential for spreading.

See the paper here - Bigheaded carps (Hypophthalmichthys spp.) at the edge of their invaded range: using hydroacoustics to assess population parameters and the efficacy of harvest as a control strategy in a large North American river
