AEL technician Cathy Doyle along with emeritus faculty Dave Culver, AEL alum Jesse Filbrun and colleague Mort Pugh of St. Marys State Fish Hatchery have contributed a chapter to the book Yellow Perch, Walleye, and Sauger: Aspects of Ecology, Management, and Culture. Their chapter is titled "A Comparison of Aquaculture Production Methods for Optimizing Production of Fingerling Yellow Perch (Perca flavescens)." It is about increasing the production of Yellow Perch fry and fingerlings to stock into lakes and reservoirs.
