Braden Charles DeMattei, PhD student with Dr. Jim Hood, has been selected for the Ecological Society of America's Katherine S. McCarter Graduate Student Policy Award. Brady is one of 20 students selected from across the United States. As part of this award he will travel to Washington D.C. for hands-on training and science policy experience including meeting with congressional policymakers and federal agency officials.
