Bittner, Brown, Hadick, and Strahan present at OSU's Denman Undergraduate Research Forum

Four EEOB undergraduate students associated with the AEL presented their thesis research at OSU’s Denman Undergraduate Research Forum on Wednesday, March 29. The students and their poster titles are as follows:

Melissa Bittner - Using stable isotopes to analyze the shift to piscivory in juvenile largemouth bass

Taylor Brown - Predator-prey space use in response to chemical cue exposures

Stephen Hadick - Coping with climate change: exploration of metabolic acclimation across generations in a tropical fish

Madelyn Strahan - Tag retention and mortality in inland reservoir channel catfish

In addition, Mel Bittner was the runner-up for the best poster (out of 23 posters) in her category (“Ecological and Environmental Sciences: From Farming to Fisheries and Beyond”) and Steve Hadick was the runner-up for the best poster (out of 35 posters) in his category (“Animal Science: From Cattle to Bees to Seabirds and Beyond”).
