Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Amara Goes to Washington

Congratulations to Amara Huddleston on being one of only 42 individuals nationwide selected as a 2019 John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellow, through NOAA Sea Grant (see announcement here). This fellowship will allow Amara to work directly in the federal government in Washington, D.C. during 2019. Past AEL members to receive this honor include: Felix Martinez (2003; Program Manager at  NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory), LeAnn Southward Hogan (2004; Senior Policy Advisor, Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, NOAA), Gene Kim (2005; National Program Leader, Aquaculture, USDA, National Institute of Food and Agriculture).
