The AEL had a wonderful showing at OSU’s Museum of Biological Diversity (MBD) Open house, which was held on Earth Day (April 22). Its theme was “The Web of Life”.  We put on exhibits that focused on cyanobacteria blooms in lakes, fish-zooplankton interactions in streams and reservoirs, and dragonfly-tadpole interactions in pond ecosystems. The build-your-plankton exhibit, brine shrimp (“sea monkey”) kits, and AEL Frisbees were definitely a hit with the kids.  A good time was had by all. Pictures of the event can be found at https://www.flickr.com/gp/ael_osu/608737.
