Cover for "Harmful Algae" academic journal

Manju Manubolu, Alex Kua, Lindsay Collart, and Stu Ludsin have been published in the Journal Harmful Algae. Their paper, titled Optimization of extraction methods for quantification of microcystin-LR and microcystin-RR in fish, vegetable, and soil matrices using UPLC-MS/MS, explores different methods for extracting the algal toxin microcystin from animals, plants, and soils. Better extraction methods help scientists to analyze toxin levels and understand any toxins present in the food chain.
