AEL Manager Jenny Pfaff was honored with an Arts and Sciences Outstanding Staff award for the 2024-2025 academic year. These are awarded annually by the ASC Staff Advisory Council to recognize staff members who have demonstrated sustained excellence in overall job performance and have improved or enhanced work life and services for faculty, staff, students, and/or the university. Jenny was nominated and selected for this award due to her performance handling a shift in her job duties in this academic year

During 2024-2025, Jenny continued to excel in her job duties while successfully navigating a significant increase in the scope of her responsibilities at the Aquatic Ecology Laboratory (AEL). Furthermore, Jenny continues to be an active leader in promoting the Ohio State Shared Values, specifically related to ensuring that the voices of diverse stakeholders are heard and in building community within the AEL and the department.
