My research interests involve native freshwater invertebrates, with a focus on community interactions. I'm interested in how different habitat structures drive aquatic ecosystems, specifically native freshwater mussels. My project aims to investigate the drivers of occupancy and habitat associations of the Flat floater mussel (Utterbackiana suborbiculata) and Sharp hornsnail ({Pleurocera acuta) in the Marias des Cygne and Neosho basin of southeastern Kansas.
